Some new things I have been working on for Valentines Day

So i have been working on all my Valentines goodies and have put them up on Ebay and Etsy..I thought i would share some of my things..

Valentines goodies already

I have been sewing away..i am making my Valentines goodies..I should be able to show some pics soon.. I am gonna start listing them on Ebay and Etsy real soon.   I have been so busy lately with work and the house.  I still haven't gotten all my decorations up this year like I have in the past.  I think I will go with what I got done and be thankful i got that much done.

I will be doing a give away real soon.  I was going to wait till I hit 100 followers but I still can do something then as well.  I will being doing a Christmas one and then a Valentines one.  It will be fun.  Just have to put some finishing touches on it..

Tonights family night here

Hello all.  I am so excited that my daughter is home.  My brother is so sweet..He went and picked her up from Wright State yesterday and brought her home.  He totally surprised me!!  I was supposed to get her today.  We went shopping and ran some errands today and now we are sitting down to watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving..

Saturday we are going to Cleveland to go on the tour of the house from A Christmas Story.  I have to say i have never watched the movie myself.  I have it now and we are going to watch it tomorrow before we go.  I didn't realize what a tradition it was for alot of people to watch it every year. 

I am still trying to get all my Christmas decorating done.  Hopefully its done by Thanksgiving!!

Good Monday morning

Wow its hard to believe its November 1st.  Well i am excited for the Holiday season to get started.  My plans for today is to clean, and do some baking.  I am making a home made pumpkin and apple pie.  I do have a recipe for pumpkin bars and I am gonna make a pumkin roll. 

I am going to start putting all my fall decorations away and next week start decorating for Christamas.  This is my favorite time of the year..

My daughter Courtney is going to come home this weekend i am so excited to see her..i think our plan is to just lounge for the weekend and maybe get some movies.

I am doing a swap in the forum that i am with and I have to get that started.  Its and old fashioned Christmas.  I really enjoy doing the haliday swaps,.  I have gotten so many neat things!!

Well i am off to get busy cleaning here, hope everyone had a great weekend and Halloween!!

Our trip for dinner tonight

My husband and i decided to go to dinner tonight at one of our favorites restaurants call The Warehouse..

It is in Roscoe Village..I did take my camera and shot a few pics..

this is just a pretty display in front of the pantry store that has lots of goodies for the kitchen

this is the Roscoe Village General store.  I took it from a distance but it is a nice prim store.  In this store the ladies are always in the early american colonial dresses..

this is just a sitting area beside the prim leather shop..

Wednesday what a beautiful day!!

It is such a beautiful day here in Ohio..After yesterdays storms what a nice surprise.  We spent alittle while in the basement yesterday with tornado sirens going on and off for awhile..those winds wee something..

I am working on some snowmen and bowl fillers today.  I need to get my Christmas items up on here or before its easter..lol..

I am actually thinking about putting my fall goodies away and start getting ready to put out my christmas..it takes me weeks to get it all out..I like to have it out and done by Thanksgiving..

Well i hope everyone is having a great day and will post pics of my snowmen when they are done..

Monday is it over yet

I planned on having a great day today..I just finished my rotation on the 3rd shift..well i call it 3rd shift but its actually 7pm to 8am.. My plan was to sleep today for a few hours and get up and get moving.  I am off until Friday so i was so excited.  Well i slept until almost 3pm and wasted half my day. 

So tonight I decided to take some pics of my home and post up here and don't  you know my camera is not in my drawer where i keep it.  I have searched high and low for it for the last 2 hours.  I give up.  I have carried off somewhere and have no idea where i put it.  So no pics tonight.

If anyone has any silly stories of misplacing something and where you ended up finding it please share..maybe it will help my find my camera..lol

Hope everyone is having a great night and hopefully tomorrow (if i can find the camera) i will post some pictures.

It been 2 weeks since i have been on here

Well..its been a long 2 weeks for me..if i haven't been working i have been sleeping..I have 4 nights left on  my rotation of 3rd shift and i am going back to days.  I am very excited to be back among the living..lol.

I have taken all my fall goodies off of ebay and etsy and will be getting ready for christmas now.  I should be listing in the next week or so my first items so be on the lookout..  Glad to be back on here and look forward to catching up on all the posts!!

Daughters home for the weekend!!

What a busy last few days i have had.  I worked the last 4 nights and finished up this morning came home and got a few hours of sleep and off to Columbus I went to get my daughter from college to come home for the weekend.  I am so excited to have her home.

We have a busy day ahead of us tomorrow.  We are going to hanoverton to a little festival at one of my favorite stores Days Gone By  http://www.daysgonebyprimitives.com/  It has all kinds of great primitives handmade and old. 

Then off to Canton where the mall is.  (The only bad thing about living in the country is you have to drive and hour to get to the mall).  Off to the movies and then home and if it doesn't rain to the fair. 

Sunday is all about the Steelers in my house!!  I have taken some pics that i need to get on my computer to post on here of some of the goodies i found last weekend so i will get them up this weekend as well.  Hope you all have a great weekend!!

Back from my weekend trip

Good morning all my prim friends.. I went camping this weekend and spent a wonderful weekend with my family.  I found some great finds and went to a few antique flea markets.  I will post some pictures later on. 

Today I will be having my husband pick a winner for my pumpkins..I wll be doing another give away once i hit 100 followers so get the word out..it gonna be a good one too!! 

I will only be making fall and Halloween items for a few more weeks so make sure if you want to purchase any of  my items let me know.  I will be starting on Christmas items and be listing them..

a few fall displays

I have taken a few pics of some pumpkin displays in my living room..  Fall is absolutely my favorite time of the year..I love all the colors and the weather is wonderful..

We are leaving in a few hours for a weekend away to visit my mom and go camping for the weekend. I am gonna relax and have fun.  This will be the first time in a long time since i have done that.

These are my pumpkins that i make.  I have found a few trunks and opened the top one and filled it up with white, black and ornage pumpkins all different sizes.  I have added some a ornage pip berry garland in it and made a sign that reads pumpkin patch that i painted on a piece of old barn wood..  This display sits under by my steps.

I found these white terra cotta pumpkins at a show last year.  I just love love love white pumpkins!!

Here is another display that is in my living room.  I have a huge ol wooden dough bowl that i have on my sofa table.  I have it over filled with my pumpkins that i make.  I have added a fall colored berrie garland and in this picture i have put some vintage chenille pumpkins in the display.

How fun is this

I work overnights and each day i wake up about 2 or 3 and can't wait to get on here.  This blogging is addicting..  I have learned so much in the last 3 days of my blogging.  I want to thank Kate for getting me started on here.

 I am off the next 4 days and gonna get some pictures up here of our primitive home.  My husband and I remodeled our home back in the spring and it turned out just wonderful.  Would love to share some of our decorating with you all.

My Give away

I was so excited to see that i already have 4 followers.  I will eventually get the hang of this.  I told a few friends at work how i spent 3 hours getting as far on this page as i did. they thought it was alittle funny that i didn't know how to do this. 

I wanted to post that i will be having my hubby pick the winners name on the pumpkins on Monday.  I will put all the name of my followers in a bowl.  I will notify the winner and get your addy and mail it out so you can have them for you decorations for fall.

My First Post

Hi and thanks for stopping by and reading my very first post.  I am very excited to have started this and look forward to meeting all my  prim friends.  i will be featuring items on here for sale and just displays. I will be doing a monthly giveaway.
