Yesterday we spent the day in the yard planting a mulching..We started this project last year in the yard when we helped my mom transform her yard into flowers beds and no grass..it turned out so nice we decided to do ours..when we bought our house 5 years ago it didn't have much done as far as landscaping it was just a regular ol green grass lawn..lots of crabgrass and it didn't look very nice..we tried to do the best we could and kill the weeds and plant new grass seed and it was getting there but I like what we have done so far much better and we don't have to mow
Heres a few pics of what we are doing....Now i don't have all my plants done yet and where you see wooden crates I am planning on putting hanging baskets on them to color my beds up...and i am planning on planting some annuals as well for some more color..Its getting there but not quite done yet..i will up date pics as we go along and put the final pics up when it all done..
we had allot of fun yesterday but neither one of us are moving very much today..
Dont forget to sign up for my giveaway..the last day to sign up is May 10th..Hope everyone has a great day!!

ReplyDeleteI love what you are doing!!! Beautiful.
Yesterday was not pleasant, and today we woke up to some frost near the shores of Lake Erie, but the sun is shining and it is warming up. Good thing because I am off to work the pug rescue booth at an outdoor event.
Pug hugs :)
